Peanut Butter Chip Brownies

I love baking and trying new recipes. I was in the mood for chocolate which is basically always and I found a brownie recipe online. The recipe is great as written but I tweaked the recipe to make peanut butter chip brownies.

Peanut Butter Chip Brownies

  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 3 cups white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups peanut butter chips

Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly grease a 9×13 baking pan.

Combine melted butter, sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl. Beat in eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each, until blended.

Sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually stir the flour mixture into the sugar mixture until blended. Stir in the peanut butter chips. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.

Bake in preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Remove and cool pan on wire rack before cutting.

Enjoy with a glass of milk.
